Raymond Lim

Raymond Lim Siang Keat (simplified Chinese: 林双吉; traditional Chinese: 林雙吉; pinyin: Lín Shuāngjí; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lîm Siang-kit, born 1959) is a politician from Singapore. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), has been a Member of Parliament (MP) representing the East Coast Group Representation Constituency (Fengshan Division) since 2001. He served as the Minister for Transport from 2006 to 2011, and as a Minister in the Prime Minister's Office from 2005 to 2006.

Lim was a Rhodes Scholar and Colombo Plan scholar and holds degree from the University of Adelaide in Australia, and the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Prior to his university education, he was a student and athlete at Raffles Institution.

Lim's brother, Benny Lim Siang Hoe, was with the Internal Security Department, and is now a Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
